Hi folks,
We're excited to share highlights from our first-ever PagerDuty User Group in Boston! The event, hosted at Wayfair's headquarters, brought together a community of real-time operations professionals for an afternoon of learning, sharing, and networking.
âď¸ Highlights
The afternoon kicked off with Joe Calçada, Customer Success Architect at PagerDuty setting the stage and sharing whatâs new and notable in PagerDuty Business and Enterprise Management.
One of the standout sessions was led by PJ Puliafico, Sr. Manager of Incident and Problem Management at Wayfair, who shared valuable insights on noise reduction techniques:
For any service that fell into our tier 3 bucket, we decided we felt comfortable setting up Auto-Pause Incident Notifications. In our first full week, we saw a 30% reduction in high urgency incidents with an overnight change that didnât require any intervention from our engineering teams.
Â
Derek Barnes, Product Manager at PagerDuty, rounded out the technical sessions with a preview of Event Orchestration's latest features and upcoming developments, giving attendees a glimpse into the future of the platform.
