Does the PagerDuty Status Page automatically show the wrench next to the Services that is scheduled for maintenance based on the time that it is scheduled or do you have to manually push it to in progress?

Hi @vmata01

When you schedule a maintenance window for a service in PagerDuty, the status page will automatically display the wrench icon (or maintenance indicator) next to that service at the scheduled start time, there’s no manual action needed to push it to “in progress.” The icon will remain visible for the duration of the maintenance window and disappear once it ends.

You can review all your maintenance windows (current, upcoming, and past) in the Services Directory under the Maintenance Windows tab at all times. This can help you keep track of what’s scheduled and what’s currently in progress.

If you need to make changes, you can always update or end a maintenance window manually, but for most cases, the automation should cover your needs.

For more details, check out the PagerDuty Maintenance Windows documentation.

Hope this helps and have a nice day!
