Hi team,

I noticed that PagerDuty no longer send mobile app push notification, phone call or text message when an alert is triggered. Is there any change during the last a few months on PagerDuty end?

I’m sorry to hear you’re not receiving PagerDuty notifications. There haven’t been any major changes to notification delivery recently, but a few things can cause this:

  • Double-check your notification rules and contact methods in your PagerDuty profile to make sure everything’s set up and verified.
  • Make sure the PagerDuty mobile app is installed, you’re logged in, and notifications are allowed in your phone’s settings.
  • Check if your phone’s Do Not Disturb or Focus mode might be blocking alerts.
  • Confirm that incidents are being assigned to you or your escalation policy, and that the policy is active.
  • You can also check the PagerDuty Status Page to see if there are any ongoing issues with PagerDuty.

There are some pre-checks that can be helpful for troubleshooting notifications in the documentation.

If you’ve checked all of the above and still aren’t getting notifications, I’d recommend reaching out to PagerDuty Support with your details so they can dig in further and help you troubleshoot.
