We are in Rundeck Version 3.0.24 and internally it is using MySQL 8.0.45. AWS RDS MySQL 8.0 is getting EOS on July 31, 2026. So we are planning for upgrade to MySQL 8.4

There is no mention of MySQL 8.4 support in Rundeck offical page
https://docs.rundeck.com/docs/administration/configuration/database/mysql.html#configure-mysql

Can you help with the details?

Hi! Mysql 8.4 Support is planned for Rundeck 6 (The next planned version) you can check the milestone here: https://github.com/rundeck/rundeck/milestone/248

However, Rundeck 3.0.24 is too old, here you can check the Rundeck supported versions here: https://docs.rundeck.com/docs/history/release-calendar.html

Regards.
