Isn’t it possible to customize the content of the event text that is sent to a Slack channel ?
eg . change the wording, .f.ex add some freestyle text

By default, PagerDuty’s Slack integration doesn’t let you directly customize the wording or add freestyle text to the alert messages sent to Slack channels, as the format is standardized for consistency and clarity.
Building a workaround would be possible but a lot of work, as you’d need to set up your own service, Slack bot or middleware between PagerDuty and Slack to achieve it.
I’m curious about your use case though, what type of custom messaging would you be looking to set up?

thanks for the reply/confirmation ( it was as I expected )
the use case was to add a URL to a FAQ , to resolve frequent/common issues.
This URL would differ depending on the Slack channel
