We use okta login, I have a Pixel 6 running latest android and latest pagerduty app. The app has developed an annoying bug.

When I open an incident to view the details, at the bottom is the function buttons, with Ack on the left. If I tap it, nothing happens. I can wait a long time. I have to tap Ack again, and then I get the banner appear briefly saying the incident was ack’d. And the the button changes to Snooze.

I have asked colleagues who have iphones if this is the same for them, and it isn’t.

Anybody else got this problem. I tried searching, but the search function uses boolean OR for multiple keywords and is thus relatively useless!

I would have added the tag “android” but it’s not possible. hmmph.

Hi @pmansfield,

Just circling back and letting you know that this has been fixed in v8.15:

What's new in version 8.15:
  • Fixed a bug with the incident screen not refreshing after certain actions
  • We've introduced a new search filter to quickly find and run incident workflows.
  • We have deprecated support for Android 11. Please ensure your device is upgraded to continue receiving mobile app updates.

Make sure to update your app and let us know if it’s working properly.

Thank you for reporting this bug and have a nice day!

thanks for the update. A few days ago my employer decided to cease all use of Android phones, and mine was replaced with an iphone, so at the moment I can’t tell you if the problem has been fixed.

However, there are times I put the pagerduty app on my personal android phone, so this fix is welcome.

regards,

Paul
