Stop the Slackbot from mentioning me

If you Awknowledge or Resolve an incident the Slackbot adds PagerDuty Username @slack-name to the Slack notification, but why tag me, the PD username I get? It seems very noisy and distracting

If I’ve closed an incident I don’t need a Slack mention telling me so, I know I’ve done so, and everyone else can tell who it was by the PagerDuty Username

+1 to this, it’s a real pain when I merge 30 alerts into one incident and then have to clear 30 slack mentions

This is becoming incredibly frustrating, enough so for me to unlink the slackbot from my account, had to clear 800 slack notifications from the “activity” tab today after merging and resolving a load of incidents

+1 I find this noisy and frustrating as it renders my Threads tab of Slack completely useless

FYI for others, I ran /pd unlink in our pagerduty slack channel to unlink my slack user and that seems to have done the trick. New messages include my name but an actual @ mention to my slack user. The downside is that I can’t run incident actions from slack directly, but I never used that functionality anyway.
