I’ve set up an external status page and checked the box to automatically post incidents to the status page. However, no incidents are showing up. How do I solve this issue?

Is this an integration with an external status page service, or PagerDuty’s status pages?
Here are a few things you can check when troubleshooting issues with posting incidents to status pages:
- Integration Setup: Make sure your PagerDuty account is fully linked to your status page provider with a full access API key, not a read-only one.
- Rules Configuration: Double-check that you’ve set up the correct rules to map PagerDuty services to your status page components, and that incident rules are in place to create or update incidents.
- Incident Workflow: If you’re using PagerDuty’s own Status Pages, ensure you’ve created an Incident Workflow and added the “Post to External Status Page” or “Send Status Update” action. This feature is only available on Business and Enterprise plans.
- Error Logs: Check for any error messages or logs in your status page provider or PagerDuty integration settings.
- Test: Try triggering a new incident in PagerDuty to see if it appears on your status page.
