Approximately 3 minute delay in notification vs AWS SNS.

We use Nagios to monitor network devices and the alerts are sent simultaneously to AWS SNS and PD. The PD alerts typically arrive 3 minutes after the AWS alerts. Is this normal or do we need to look at our setup or raise a support case? We are using PD API to send the alerts from Nagios and the AWS API to send alerts to AWS so there should be little or no difference in speed.

It would depend on your configuration (e.g. whether you have a threshold set up in event rules, whether they are being sent simultaneously from Nagios, etc.).
