Easier Overrides for Non-Rotating Schedules

We have an on-call schedule which is driven by external factors, rather than being a clean rotation. Currently, the only way to enter that type of schedule is via Overrides. However, every override requires manually entering the start and end date AND time. Can we get some support to more easily enter overrides on a day-by-day basis, rather than needing to specify hours and minutes every time?
