I’d like to understand how I can make it so that the alert tone in the mobile app (on iOS) repeats until the user takes action. As I understand it, the alert tone only plays once and then stops. I’d like the tone to loop until the user actually opens the incident and acknowledges. Is this possible?
The frequency of notifications for incidents is controlled by an individual user’s notification rules. While we can’t play a continuous tone into perpetuity until action is taken, a user can set up to 20 high-urgency and 10 low-urgency notification rules in their profile, though they will need to ensure they take action before the escalation policy is set to escalate to the next tier.
