Unbundled Event Push Notifications

Currently if there is more than one active incident that has been triggered and not acknowledged, every one of the incidents number is included in every psuh notification as per: https://support.pagerduty.com/docs/notifications#section-notification-bundling

IE:

ALRT: #102,#103,#104,#105,#106 on Service-x, Service-y.

ALRT: #101,#102,#103,#104,#105 on Service-x, Service-y.

ALRT: #100,#101,#102,#103,#104 on Service-x, Service-y.

I’d much rather get a notification for each incident only once so I can read some details about it in the push notification.

Hi Nils!

Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to file a feature request for you on this if you email us at support@pagerduty.com.

Thanks!

I have filed a feature request through support for this feature, but I just wanted to add that this is the number one complaint that my team has about pager duty. In the current state the notification bundling makes the app impossible to use without having to open the app for every notification we receive.

Thanks for that context, Nils.

Can you let me know the number of the ticket you opened so I can make sure to add this feedback to it?

Appreciate it!

My ticket number was: #189270

Hi Nils,

Thanks for providing that ticket number. I’ll go ahead and add your feedback.
