Notification based on incident frequency


I’d like to have a “rule” where outside of business hours, I want alerts/notifications to be sent out only if there are more than X incidents with the same incident_key in Y minutes. Is this possible?

If you have Event Intelligence and access to Threshold Alerts, you could set up Event Rule that could suppress until X amount of alerts come in within a configured amount of time before triggering an incident.

Since these Event Rules are only to be able to be created on your Rulesets at this time, all events that you want to apply to this rule would have to be sent to your global ruleset Integration Key though. Instead of creating Event Rule conditions based on your routing key, perhaps there is some other field in the events being sent to this destination though that you could build the conditions off of
