While we’re working on full compatibility with Service Desk, you can get the webhooks integration to work properly with some adjustments. YMMV, as this is not currently a supported integration, but if you’d like to give it a try, here’s what to do:
- Modify your workflows so that incidents are created with their status set to “New”, and to “Done” when they are completed.
- Test your setup by setting the webhook URL to a new
requestb.inpage, and triggering a test incident.
- Take a close look at the JSON object sent from JIRA Service Desk. You’re looking to make sure that all of the following fields are included in the JSON:
The current JIRA webhooks integration was developed and tested around JIRA Software, but full, supported compatibility with JIRA Service Desk isn’t too far off.
