Schedule exclusion days

It will be great if we can specify “no oncall dates” for specific rotation.

For example, sometimes we should set up a rotation for specific events with irregular intervals.

In that case, it will be great if we can specify dates when we should not assign any on call person.

After the skip day, the rotation can go on in the sequence defined by the rotation.

The way the product is designed is that if nobody is scheduled to be oncall for a particular period then no incidents will be raised - I suggest you introduce a “dummy” user with just an email address as the notification method and that way a real person would not get notified.

Or you could look at configuring a maintenance window on the service.

Or configure an event rule to suppress specific events at predefined dates/times.
