Rest API - Get Incident Details

Good Afternoon,

I’m running into the same problem as this article:

REST Api list incidents or get incident does not have correct description

The Description field is returning the Title, this article is back in 2018, wondering if this has been fixed or not?

Thank you for reaching out to PagerDuty Customer Support!

I’ve taken a look and it appears that it is the expected behavior for the “title” and “description” to match for incidents as historically the “description” existed as a field before the “title” field, and there are a mess of dependencies that still need to be dealt with regarding a so-called fix.

I can and will add your vote/voice to the existing feature request to decouple the two fields, and have a proper “description” field.
