Resolved incident with new alert

Based on the documentation, it seems when all the alerts for a particular incident are resolved, the corresponding incident is also resolved. What happens then in this case if once the incident is resolved, another alert is triggered which corresponds to that incident? Does the incident reopen? Does the alert get automatically resolved?

RESOLVED (https://support.pagerduty.com/docs/event-management#):

  • If there are no open (unresolved) incidents with this key, a new incident will be created.
  • If there is already an open incident with a matching key, this event will be appended to that incident’s alert log as an additional Trigger log entry
