JIRA Service Desk tickets sent to pager duty


We currently use JIRA Service Desk and are looking at pager duty for notifications to on-call support. Is it possible to have incidents created in JIRA service desk sent to Pager duty for notifications? If not, is there a way to have a customer enter incidents into PD by themselves? Everything i’m seeing is a PD user entering incidents manually.

I feel like I’m missing something.

Both of our Jira Cloud and Jira Server integrations support Jira Service Desk.

You would then want to follow the step where you “Create a Jira Query Language (JQL) statement which can automatically create PagerDuty incidents if a Jira issue matches the JQL at creation.”

This will allow you to automatically pull incidents from Jira to trigger In PagerDuty.
