How to auto-acknowledge Pager Duty ticket?

We have a process where there is a Jira ticket auto create when someone create a PD ticket. Is it possible to auto-acknowledge the PD ticket for the person that on call?

Once it’s triggered, is there a way to auto-acknowledge?

Sometimes, we’re on call off hours, on holidays, etc

We don’t have any process to Automation Acknowledge. Right now it will trigger if there’s an incident, then someone has to manually click “ACK” and Snooze it

You could send a webhook to something like an AWS Lambda and then have logic there to automate the API request back to PagerDuty to acknowledge that incident.
