Android: Option to ramp up alert volume

Problem: If volume override is enabled the alert volume is immediately at full volume. While this quickly lets the user know that there may be a problem it can be jarring in some scenarios.

Request: Create an option to increase the volume of the alert gradually overtime. The alert could start out at a very low volume then increase in volume over a minute until it continues at full volume. This would need the volume override setting to be enabled to ensure the the alert does sound in the first place.

The Feature Request has been logged with the Product Team to consider.

Since it been logged in a different system we would not have an update as to the feature’s development and implementation.

Is there a link a bug report I can watch? I’d also love to have this.

Alarms with increasing volume are a rather standard feature these days.
